The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart. IRobot Roomba S9+ The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience. Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home gets a proper look. This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models. The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad. The only issue is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt. For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on when it encounters one. What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin. You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects. The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big—it's over two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds—the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7. This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty. The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path. The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are great however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners require. The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu in which you can tweak how the L10s Ultra works with your home. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children. The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
